Joey & Sarah's Wedding @ Embassy Suites Mandalay Beach Resort: Video Segment of their Photo Session

Is there anything more Californian than a beach wedding surrounded by palm trees, sun, sand, sea ... and of course, a mariachi band? The gorgeous oceanfront Embassy Suites Mandalay Beach - Hotel & Resort, sandwiched between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, is just the place for such an occasion. Sarah was by far the most energetic and vibrant bride I have seen, and the love between her & Joey was infectious ... I'm sure you'd agree if you saw their wedding video. Skyline Videography goes to great lengths to, not only capture your day, but also make your video interesting to watch. When present for the photo session, we always put together a fun segment and include it on the final wedding video DVD under "Special Features". Brendan & Kassie's Wedding @ Malibou Lake Mountain Club: Video Montage

It was an absolute pleasure to be Brendan and Kassie's wedding videographer and to capture their gorgeous wedding at the Malibou Lake Mountain Club in Agoura. What a great couple, they had so much fun together (see them skipping together in the clip below), and were great to work with! The weather was perfect for an outside ceremony, which was complimented with exceptional floral arrangements by Flowers by Stacey. We captured the ceremony, as always, with a two camera shoot and got some great candid moments on video during the photo session that followed. Check out the video montage below for a glimpse of Brendan and Kassie's special day. Photography by highly acclaimed wedding photographers Mibelle Inc.

Jeff & Amanda's Wedding @ St. Jude & Westlake Village Inn: Video Montage

Jeff & Amanda began their big day at St. Jude Catholic Church in Westlake Village. The festivities then moved on to a beautiful reception in the ballroom at the Westlake Village Inn. One of the most memorable parts of their wedding was the energy, which really only translates through videography. The crowd erupted when Jeff and Amanda entered the ballroom; the explosion of love from all their family & friends was very evident in their wedding video. This was followed by their first dance which we captured using our fluid steadicam, as well as a stationary camera on a tripod off to the side. We also got some great shots using our real slow-motion recording feature (see last scene in the following clip). Here is a video montage showing the highlights of their "heavenly day".

Your Los Angeles, Ventura, or Santa Barbara Videographer

Have you ever noticed how small video cameras are getting these days? With such tiny, palm size cameras, you can take them with you anywhere. However, there's one important factor not to be ignored: the smaller the camera, the more shaky the image. So don't let Uncle Tom shoot your wedding video, unless you want a sequel to "Saving Private Ryan"! At Skyline Videography, we go to great lengths to capture your special occasion in a professional way. We use shoulder supports and steady cams to create smooth moving shots. Why hire someone who just leaves a camera on a tripod? Anyone can do that. We use tripods, monopods, and even camera cranes - however small or big you want the production to be, we can make your vision happen.

Terry & Bernice's Wedding @ Ojai Valley Inn & Spa: Quick Clip of their Ceremony

Terry & Bernice's stunning wedding at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa was put together by Micelle Buckley of Mint Julep Social Events. The breathtaking Topa Topa Mountains served as a backdrop to their fragrant ceremony in the Herb Garden. Their wedding video was captured in High Definition, and a two camera shoot was used for their ceremony. Click below to see a quick preview of their ceremony displaying our use of two camera's. The first camera obtains a wide shot, which is professionally edited between close-up shots of the bride and groom with our second camera. Also, take note of the crisp sound quality. We mic the officiant of the wedding with a wireless microphone that records in digital timecode. It is so clear & powerful that it also picks up both the bride and groom's voices. In addition, we recorded the harpist with a separate digital recorder for exceptional sound. We therefore do not have to rely solely on the microphones already built into the camera's. Enjoy! Why You Need A Wedding Videographer .... Can You Entrust Uncle Joe With Your Wedding Video?

Many engaged couples preparing for their special day think that skipping out on videography is a good thing to do. To stay within the budget, videography is usually handed over to Uncle Joe with a cheap camera and a shaky hand.

The Wedding and Event Videographers Association (WEVA) did a nationwide survey in 2005 to see how brides thought about videography both before and after their wedding day had past.

"Prior to their weddings, barely 50% of the brides listed videography as a Top 10 item. However, after the weddings the emphasis changed dramatically. A whopping 79% of the brides placed videography among their Top 10 items for wedding planning." (
http://www.topweddingsites.com/wedding-videography.html)

The fact is, the overwhelming majority of brides regret not having a wedding video! And unfortunately, it can never be captured again! Photography is beautiful. Videography is emotion in motion. The wedding day flies by so quickly, with everything that needs to get done following the timeline and a million people to greet - it's no wonder why people regret not having a wedding video - they missed much of their wedding!

Don't make that same mistake. Your wedding day is the most important day of your life! Review our wedding packages today and choose Skyline Videography as your professional wedding videographer.
